David R Newton's mixed media solo show Copenhagen, presents worlds both seemingly familiar and exotic, exploring ways of remotely journeying through a landscape punctuated with cinematic references and hybrid contextual narratives.
Like some outer body observation of the opening or closing of a romance or heist movie, ethereally unfurling in the mind of a dreamer deep in mythic slumber, Above the Wedgwood Chamber appears like an impending moment of drama frozen in stasis.
